Eric Palatnik (Principal)

After practicing law for over twenty years, Eric Palatnik has become one of New York City’s most prominent zoning and land use attorneys. Representing property owners, developers, and architects, Mr. Palatnik has built a remarkable record of success. He has spent thousands of hours advocating for his clients before the Board of Standards and Appeals, City Planning Commission, Landmarks Preservation Commission, Department of Buildings, and the Environmental Control Board. In addition to his representing clients before local Community Boards, civic organizations , and in presentations to elected officials. Mr. Palatnik offers unique advice and insight into his cases so as to support his clients’ projects until they are complete.

The drive behind Mr. Palatnik’s success is his love and appreciation for New York City. He continuously strives to build a better New York.

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Palatnik practiced law at a boutique zoning and land use firm for five years. He has previously served on the City Bar's Land Use Planning and Zoning committee.

Mr. Palatnik received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1997, and his undergraduate degree in Housing and Economics from Cornell University in 1991. He is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.


Trevis Savage (Office Manager)

Ms. Savage is the Office Manager at Eric Palatnik, P.C. She has been with the firm for 15 years, and during that time has overseen all types of applications and related matters before the Board of Standards and Appeals, City Planning Commission, Landmarks Preservation Commission, Department of Buildings, and the Environmental Control Board.

Prior to joining Eric Palatnik, P.C., Ms. Savage had a lengthy career in City government including over 15 years as the Deputy Director at the Board of Standards and Appeals and 5 years at the Department of Consumer Affairs, culminating in her role as the agency’s Assistant Director for License Issuance.


elyse foladare (Associate)

Ms. Foladare has been an associate at the firm since 2016. She handles various land use, zoning, and real estate matters, specializing in applications before the Board of Standards and Appeals. She also has experience working on various applications before the City Planning Commission.

Ms. Foladare received her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law, J.D. cum laude, in 2016 with an Environmental Law Certificate, and her B.A. in Anthropology from Bard College in 2012. She is licensed to practice law in New York.


justin jarboe (urban planner)

Justin is experienced in zoning, land use, comprehensive planning, and environmental compliance. He offers 15 years of experience working on discretionary approvals with the Department of City Planning, Board of Standards and Appeals and other city and state agencies. He attended New York University, where he received his Master of Urban Planning in 2011.


adina taluto (intragovernmental specialist)

A specialist in City and State government, Ms. Taluto possesses a rare combination of professional skills having spent time implementing and coordinating a wide range of business practices in their endeavors before local governmental bodies.  She is recognized industry wide for her strong performance and lengthy experience.  She brings increased speed and optimized efficiency to every project she touches.

Ms. Taluto’s primary role will be to support EPPC clients and team members in ensuring that project time lines and project are met through steady, repetitive communication with relevant & appropriate government committees and agencies, and other critical project contributors including architecture & environmental, and cartography.
